“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Bill and Stephanie have been married for 17 years and have five awesome kids.
In his younger years, Bill would have been voted least likely to be a pastor. He grew up hunting, fishing, and working in his family’s tractor business. Later he pursued a career in technology and business. He spent his young adult years looking for fun and fulfillment through legendary parties and making money. To his complete surprise, Jesus changed his life at age 25 when a new Christ-following family moved into town and befriended the young adults in the community. They opened their home, and through food, volleyball, and conversation, they won his heart and showed him what the fulfilling life of a Christ-follower could be like. Ultimately, he chose to make Christ his leader and forgiver, and his life has never been the same. Shortly afterward he realized that God wanted him to center his life on helping others come to a relationship with Jesus and transform their lives spiritually.
Stephanie is a gifted speaker and writer. She has spoken a numerous women’s conference and ladies events. Her articles have been published in different parenting magazines. She had an idyllic childhood in rural Arizona with many siblings and a menagerie of farm animals. She grew up in a Christian family, but with the mistaken belief that following Jesus was mostly about how to follow enough rules to make God happy. She made Christ her leader at an early age, but it took many years of growing in friendship with him before she understood that there is nothing we can do to make God love us any less, and no good we can do to make him love us any more. Understanding his complete forgiveness, total acceptance, and unconditional love revolutionized her life and freed her from fear, insecurity, and shame.
Bill and Stephanie married in 2000 and have five awesome kids. As a team, they have opened their hearts, home, and life to many spiritual seekers. Their goal together is to help people find freedom and fulfillment in a relationship with God.
Life happens to everyone
Their life took an unexpected and transforming turn in 2012 when their family was seriously exposed to toxic mold. Over the next several years they experienced health crises, unemployment, homelessness, and the loss of all their belongings three times. They have come back up with a new perspective on people and life. Today, from a new place of strength and stability, their heart is to have compassion on those who are hurting and to demonstrate love to those in pain. Most of all, they want to share the comfort, love, and care God has shown them, with others.
We believe God led us here to this beautiful state and the wonderful city of Loveland! After visiting a few times, we genuinely fell in love with the life, the culture, and especially the people!
Everyone has a story. We look forward to hearing yours!
Bill finished grad work in theological education (non-profit/church administration & study of God), and then earned a doctorate in personal transformation. He has led four different churches as lead pastor, and was teaching and assimilation pastor for a 3,000 member church. He spoke regularly to groups over 1,000 and weekly to groups over 1,00. He identified, recruited, and trained leaders. He employed his business marketing and computer background to do digital marketing for these non-profits and then later began his own digital marketing company before moving to Colorado. He led sales in an agricultural tractor and equipment setting company records and then was offered the business, but he declined since he knew God wanted him in a ministry path. He has two bachelors degrees, one in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and the second in Computer Information Systems. While during and the years following college he owned and operated a computer consulting business where he sold customized business systems, networked systems, and coded custom business application software.
